In the city of Villach, parking fees apply for parking a multi-lane motor vehicle in the designated short-term parking zone area.

Short-term parking zones and parking fees are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. it's 60 cents per half hour, with a maximum of 180 minutes and the first 20 minutes are free.

Free Parking
From Friday, 12 to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., there is free short-term parking with a maximum of three hours, after which the vehicle must be removed. Please enter the arrival time visibly in the car or please use a parking meter.
During the week, it's possible to park for 20 minutes for free by indicating the arrival time. If you want to take advantage of the 20-minute free parking offer, you must enter the arrival time visibly in the car or please use a parking meter. From 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. the next day, parking is free in the whole city center, on Saturdays from 1 p.m. and on Sundays all day.
